The NSW World Heavyweight Championship is a Professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in Non Stop Wrestling (NSW). It was established in Season one Episode 2 of Smackdown. After Raw and SmackDown became distinct brands under NSW, the championship moved on to Smackdown. The championship is generally contested in professional Wrestling matches. The belt is the most prestigious championship available for the RAW brand of NSW.
The title was announced by Smackdown GM Tim Jones on Smackdown episode 2 and 6 men would compete in a ladder match at the first Pay Per View Unforgiven, which was won by Sean Bretherick who had started on NXT only a week before and was moved up thanks to his win.
At the start of Season four Mr McMundo advised that The NSW title had been moved to RAW and the World Heavyweight title was now on Smackdown.
Braun Strowman is in his 1st regain as champion after Mr McMundo reactivated the championship and Braun was the current RAW champion at the time.
