The NXT Women's Championship is a professional wrestling championship owned by NSW and is competed for exclusively in NXT Wrestling, NSW's developmental territory. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches.
History
The NXT Women's Championship is a division title in Non Stop Wrestling for the NXT roster, The title created by GM Mick Foley early in season 2.
Former Rules on main roster spot
In season one and two, when a superstar wins the title if they win 2 more matches in a row they then can face a women from the main roster and if they win that match they will go onto the main roster and the title will be forfeited.
If the Superstar loses the match against a women from the main roster they will still hold the NXT title and need to win another two matches before they will get the another match.
A Superstar must win 3 in a row at one time once they lose and then regain the title they must win 3 in a row nothing is carried over.

Sophia Starr is in her 3rd regain as champion after she beat Dakota Kai.
